Registration and Material Costs

Regarding Dues...

In order to help pay the costs of running an Awana Club, our club asks each member to contribute toward expenses.  Our dues are $.50 per person for each club night.

Regarding Books...

Books and awards are provided by Grace Bible Church.

Regarding Uniforms...

AWANA AWARDS 2005 - 2006

AWANA provides a system of awards to motivate and maintain your Awana Clubber's interest in the program such as some of the following:

HANDBOOK AWARDS - You are encouraged to review your clubber's handbook, which details awards that can be earned.  Note that there are 8 main sections consisting of Bible Drills and Activities.  Most ACTIVITIES require a period of time to complete so they should be starting early in the year on these sections.

ATTENDANCE AWARDS - Regular club attendance, having no more than one unexcused absence per quarter, is required to receive an AWANA attendance award.  Illness, family emergency, and being out of town will be counted as an excused absence.  Notify the secretary upon registration if your child(ren) qualify for an excused absence.

QUARTERS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

September 7 - November 2

November 9 - January 4

January 11 - March 8

March 15 - May 3

CUBBIES RECEIVE 1/2 YEAR:

September 7 - January 4

January 11 - May 3

SUNDAY SCHOOL ATTENDANCE AWARDS - This award is given twice a year, for two different periods.  To earn this award, your child will have needed to attend Sunday School every Sunday for these time periods, allowing only two unexcused absences.  Excused absences consist beyond the clubber's control, such as sickness, vacation, etc.  If, and only if, your church DOES NOT have Sunday School, then attendance at your worship service will count for the Sunday School requirements.

Attendance periods are as follows:

September 7 - January 4

January 12 - May 4

Also, there are other various AWARDS to be earned by each child as they continue through the AWANA year program.  Such awards are Membership cards, badges, and other assorted awards as they complete specific Bible Drills and Activities.



Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather:

             Awana clubs will not be held whenever the public schools are closed due to inclement weather.  In addition, a staff member will contact you of the Awana closing by 5:30 p.m..
