Dr. Lee Stauff, Senior Pastor

Pastor Lee Stauff came to Grace in 2002. Before that he pastored churches in Pa. and one in Illinois for twenty years. He has a burden for the area and built a home partly to demonstrate his love for the community and to send a message of commitment long-term. Pastor Lee has a B.S. in Business Administration from Johnson and Wales Univ. , his masters in Biblical Studies and his M.Div. from Biblical Seminary, and a Doctorate from Dallas Seminary. He has been married to Carol Lee since 1978 and has two sons who are both pursuing Doctorates in Music and Biochemistry respectively.

Barbara Vogelgesang and her husband Jim are the proud parents of Nick, Libby, Sarah and Alex. Along with her family, Barb has been active in evangelistic outreach to children and their families through appearances at various churches and Christian organizations. The Vogelgesang children serve beside their parents helping Christian families learn more about God through active, fun, family devotions. They are committed to helping families grow closer to each other and to God.

Barbara holds a journalism degree from St. John’s University, NYC, has attended Ringling Bros. Clown College, and is a CLASS graduate (Christian Leaders, Authors, Speakers Services). She served in Field Leadership and as Area Coordinator for MOPS International (Mother’s of Preschoolers) for 8 years. Barbara is the founder and director of the Imaginatory Theater Company whose mission is to discover, develop and encourage creativity in order to reflect and honor the ultimate Creator. She is committed to helping youth express themselves through their God given talents. Barbara is listed with the Homeschool Speakers and Vendors Association and The Old Schoolhouse’s Speaker’s Bureau. As a regular speaker at conferences, retreats and conventions, Barbara is passionate about Christian leadership development. Through humor, stories and Biblical truth she encourages every Christian to seek a closer relationship with our Lord. She is the author of many magazine articles and the book Boredom Busters, published by Zondervan.

I was born & raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a secretary for 6 years. I was married there in 1964 to Dave Gallo. While I had been raised in a church and thought I was a Christian, I accepted Christ as my Savior at a Billy Graham movie in Pittsburgh in 1965. It was then that I realized I had only head knowledge about Christ, but did not know Him in my heart. We moved to Orwigsburg in 1971 when Dave was transferred for his job, and became part of the church the next year. Our 4 children grew up in the church and graduated from Blue Mt. schools. They are all married and have their own families, as well as 11 grandchildren who are precious to our hearts!

I worked as a part-time volunteer church secretary from l978 to 1988. From l988 until the present, I have been paid on an hourly basis as a part-time administrative assistant. I have had the privilege of working with Pastors Pierce, Mellon, Keeler and now Lee Stauff. It has been a joy to serve the Lord in this way, as well as being part of our worship team, leading a bi-weekly ladies Bible study, being secretary of our ladies Missionary Fellowship, being part of a small group Bible Study, teaching children, and just being involved with our local church body in any way.

Dave and I will be married 43 years in 2007. I enjoy cooking, music, sewing, arts and crafts, traveling, hiking and especially spending precious time with our children and grandchildren!

Dave Gallo came to know the Lord as Savior in 1965 after a Billy Graham film in Pittsburgh. A member of Grace Bible Church since 1972; served as Sunday School Supt., Deacon, and Elder. Dave and his wife, Kathy (Church Secretary), have four adult children and ten grandchildren.

Dave also facilitates a small group meeting in various homes approximately twice a month. He worked in the metals industry for 37 years before retiring . Enjoys travel, hiking, the Steelers, good friends, and our family.

Jim Gregor was born and raised in Berks County. After graduating from high school in 1961, he joined the U.S. Navy and was eventually sent to Treasure Island, CA for Electronics Design and Engineering School. While in California, he met his wife to be - Loreen.

Jim accepted the Lord as his personal Savior in October of 1966 and since that time has served the Lord in various church leadership positions and assisted where his interest in electronics could be used. In 1970 Jim was discharged from the Navy and he accepted a position as an Electronics Engineering Technologist at the University of California Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in Berkley, CA. Jim was put in charge as Technical Supervisor of a unit responsible for the maintenance and development of an Atomic Particle Accelerator.

Shortly after retiring in 2003, Jim and Loreen moved east and now live in Deer Lake, PA. They definitely feel the Lord led them to Grace Bible Church and are very thankful for a loving church family. Jim also helps with the Awana ministry and he and Loreen regularly meet with their Small Group.

Dave Moyer is a 1977 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. He worked in the nuclear field for about 12 years. After he was saved in August 1983, he felt called to leave engineering and entering the teaching field. He has been teaching chemistry and physics at Northwestern Lehigh High School since 1989 and at Lehigh Carbon Community College since 2000. Dave plays trumpet and enjoys singing. He and his wife Donna have one adult daughter. He and Donna enjoy gardening. Dave also likes fishing and hunting. He is a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Dave is the Worship Leader and leads a small group that meets twice a month. He also co-leads the Men's Ministry. He likes to organize fellowship and outreach events such as men's breakfasts, softball games, banquets and concerts.

Jeff Steencken and his family moved to New Riggold, PA from New Jersey in October 1997. He is a Field Service Specialist for 20 years servicing medical equipment in hospitals and colleges.

He has a wonderful wife, Anita, and three adult children. Jeffrey, their oldest, was married in May 2006 and lives near by. Michael is currently serving the US Army in South Korea. Their daughter, Roseann, lives at home finishing her associate degree.

Jeff found Grace Bible Church prior to moving to the area and has been attending with his family ever since. He loves to serve the Lord in any way He directs. Besides serving as Deacon, he also is our Chief Video Technician.

Jeff was led to the Lord by his brother, Tom back in the 1980s and has been growing in the Lord with each passing year.

Ray Nester is married to his wife, Lori who he met in Fleetwood in 1984 after he took a job as a Police Officer for the Fleetwood/Richmond Twp. Police Department where he has been Police Chief since 1990. After graduating from Blue Mountain High School, he got a degree in Criminal Justice from Lehigh Community College. Ray and Lori have two children, Matthew and Nichole who are twins in the Fleedwood High School. They've lived in Fleetwood since 1983.

Born and raised in the New Ringgold area, Ray came to know the Lord as his personal Saviour in 1970 during a Easter Service at Grace Bible Church as a teen. He attended Grace until 1983 when he moved from the area and then returned with his family in 2005.

Besides his deacon responsibilities, Ray also teaches a College & Career Sunday School Class, helps with the Awana program and with the teen group.

In his leasure time, Ray enjoys his family, church family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Frank Varaso was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He retired from the IBM Corporation with a career of over 31 years. The praise, honor and glory is the Lord's. Frank and his late wife Bea, moved to Schuylkill County in July 2002 and began attending Grace Bible Church later that year. Frank and Bea accepted Jesus as their personal Savior at Thomas Roads Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA on December 4, 1994. Bea has been called home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2009. In addition to serving as a Church Deacon, Frank serves as an Usher, helps maintain the church website, is creating an online church directory and works in the God's Helping Hands ministry. "Thank You Lord for the 18 years You have given Bea and I and thank You for our children."
